We were there with a tour bus. When we arrived we entered the restaurant and was met by an extremely RUDE Hostess! We were screamed at for sitting in the wrong locations. Our tour guide had scheduled for us to be there months in advance. Our meals were already chosen so they knew what we were eating. All she needed to do was to meet us at the door, or on the bus like most places do, & let us know where she wanted us to sit. Our waitress was awesome. My wife & I had been there on our honeymoon 37 years ago. I would come back & hope the Gestapo Hostess was in a better mood!
Came highly recommended as a well known local favorite. Didn’t disappoint. Call ahead for seating as wait may be long. They make their pancakes fresh. They have different flavors with various combination. Had corned beef hash, blueberry pancake & spiked peppermint hot chocolate.
I ordered Pineapple Pancakes, oatmeal buttermilk pancakes and a hot chocolate. Pancakes are good. Hot chocolate was great may be because they used maple syrup for sweetness. Overall great place to visit. It won’t hurt to call and reserve a table beforehand or else you gotta wait a good amount of time
We enjoy this place whenever we go. Remember to call ahead. On the weekends there will be a wait. It can be up to 2 hours if you have not called ahead. They have other choices besides pancakes. I enjoy there combo breakfast dishes. Some pancakes, eggs, meat, and you can add other sides. Enjoy a mix and match pancake selection or have all the same.
Simply amazing food... you've got to try the pancakes; they're available in a number of flavors and you can order a stack of 3 or 6 in any flavors you want. If you order 6 they give you 3 at first and bring the second 3 after you've finished the first 3 so you're assured hot, fresh pancakes. Terrific coffee. Outstanding scrambled eggs with melted cheese. Fun place with awesome views. Friendly staff. Nice gift shop with souvenir shirts and hats and numerous other items. It's a super busy place on the weekends so it's best to arrange call ahead seating.
